Day 1 – Thursday, August 4th, 2022 – Best of Amish Country Ride

Fuel up before we leave as the first gas stop is 60 miles in. Starting at the Camp, we will ride east into Amish Country. Our first stop will be the Worlds Largest Cuckoo Clock in Sugarcreek, OH. Following a quick photo op, we will take a northern loop and eventually stopping in Dover to eat lunch and fuel up. After lunch, we loop south through the country until we arrive in Berlin, OH for an extended stop to allow people to explore the local community. Finally, we will head home to camp stopping for fuel just before we get back. – 132 miles

Day 2 – August 5th, 2022 – Last of the Mohican River Ride

We will head south from the Farm going SouthEast in the general direction towards Coshocton. Stopping at mile 6 for gas. First stop is at mile 47 for Mohawk Dam. Next a small detour to the town of Newcastle to visit Newcastle Farmhaus-Amish Style Cooking. Then back to our loop route which runs near the Mohican River until we eventually get to Mohican Lodge at Mohican State Park for a rest stop around mile 90. Back on the road for another 12 miles or so and we arrive at Malabar Farm, where Humphrey Bogart married Lauren Bacall in 1945. We might explore a little depending on the time of day. Remainder of the trip is heading East and SouthEast back to the Farm. total of 140 miles.

Day 3 – Saturday August 6th, 2022 – Akron/Cuyahoga Valley Ride

For Saturday’s ride, you will need a full tank of gas! We will be departing our Amish roots in the true Rumspringa fashion and head into the city where we will stop for lunch in the eclectic Akron neighborhood of Highland Square.  From there we will head into the beast of Cuyahoga National Park where we will explore some of the great scenery and curvy roads you have come to expect from Sloopy’s Revenge.  We will continue north and hit some of the roads through Cleveland Metroparks including the Tail of the Iguana and the Tail of the Pussycat. Once we conquer those beasts, we will head back toward camp passing a house built for a famous Akron king, through a small college town, and then back into the fields where we will party the night away. – 179 miles
