Day 1 – June 24th, 2021
Starting in at Pony Powersports in Westerville, OH, we will make out way west out of the city. First, we have a few sponsor stops on the way out of town. We will hit Whit’s Frozen Custard, Capital City Scooters and Modern Ohio Realty. Then we will make our way to Yellow Springs for lunch. From there, we will head southwest through Xenia and down the east side of Cincinnati to East Fork State Park. This is our stop for the night. The address is 2837 Old State Rte 32, Batavia, OH 45103. Day 2 – June 25th, 2021
Starting at East Fork State Park, we will head west into the Cincinnati to see a few sights before a sponsor stop at Metro Scooter and lunch at Piada. Then we will cruise east on US 52 along the Ohio River until we reach Aberdeen where we will leave the riverside for a while on our way toward Portsmouth and the Flood Wall Murals. Finally, we will end up at our stop for the night in Franklin Furnace, OH. We have a host for the evening who has graciously offered his riverfront property for us to pitch our camps. Space is limited so please make sure to indicate that you plan to camp here when you register. Day 3 – June 26th, 2021
I am really excited about this day!!!! Todays route will include The Mothman, The Triple Nickel and The Rim of the World. We will continue east on US 52 and OH 7 to Gallipolis. I hope you are allowed to leave the state because we are planning to stop at the Mothman Museum in Point Pleasant, WV. If you don’t know what this is, rent the movie “The Mothman Prophecies“. Don’t forget to snap a selfie with the famous Mothman statue. From here we will head back to Ohio and continue with OH 7 until we get to our lunch stop in Pomeroy, OH. From there we continue to to Little Hocking, OH where we will grab some gas because this is where the riding REALLY starts. OH 555, The Triple Nickel, is regarded as Ohio’s best motorcycle road. We will follow it northwest until we reach Ringgold where we head west on OH 78. Otherwise know as The Rim of the World, this road will lead us to our stop for the night, Burr Oak State Park.
Day 4 – June 27th, 2021
On Day 4, we ride back across The Rim of the World to where we left The Triple Nickel the night before. We will finish the northern half of The Triple Nickel on our way to Zanesville. From there we cut to the northwest along Dillon State Park and make our way back to Columbus just in time for the Vespa Day Parade by VespOhio.
